Our Take: I've been a father since 2002. I need to preface this by saying that I am a very involved father...probably more like a mother to most people's standards. I'm one of those helicopter parents! I've since had three children, our most recent was born in November 2009, so he is four months old now. My wife and I found ourselves in the market of finding new baby books. We came across Your Baby's First Year Week by Week in hardcover.
We'd read a version of this book years ago, but this new edition has over 50 new topics and since ideas and thoughts on raising infants change constantly, we didn't want to rely on a used or older book. This new version discusses more recent hot topics like cord blood banking and of course the latest thoughts on SIDS.
If you're about to have a baby or you have a little one thats less than one year old this book is an invaluable resource. Our sits right on our bedside table and gets used just about every day. This would make a great gift for an expectant mother or father in your life!
