Our Take: These two paperbacks feature about 30 pages of illustrated text. Both of the books were adapted from the film by Lisa Shea. The artwork on both books is alright, but the work on 'Meet the Black Widow' by Guido Guidi really stands out to older fans. Not so much on the actual people, but the Iron Man suit and the machines look just fantastic. The art in 'Friends and Foes' by Dario Brizuela is also great in it's own way. Dario is actually a prolific comic book artist, having worked on everything from Dc Super Friends to TMNT and Super Hero Squad. The text is easy for the beginning reader, up to say first grade. Great books!
